Turn on the faucet at the bath sink and............................

BLUE WATER!!!

What would cause something like this?

After checking around, the toilet had one of those old ball valves that you remember from the old days where you would bend them to keep the toilet from running.

The valve was going bad and was syphoning the water out of the tank of the toilet which had one of those round blue cleaning tablets in it and into the water lines. YUCK!!! That was toilet cleaner coming out of the faucet!

Sometimes you scratch your head at the thought process:

This 2x4 is supposed to hold back the pressure of the Earth? If this wall was to collapse inward, not only will it break this 2x4, it will most likely break the floor joist it's attached to with very little movement.

It's amazing some of the things we find during a home inspection:

There are termite tubes everywhere in this find! Look at the wall in the background, that is termite tubes streaming down the walls.
